We Are Members. . .
We are members of the church Christ established on Pentecost 40 days after his resurrection.
So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2:41-47)

Because God loved the world so much, he gave his only begotten son so that we can be reconciled to him through Jesus Christ (John 3:16)

We are among those who were lost but have been washed, cleaned, and redeemed. Now we are numbered among the children of God. (1 Corinthians 6:11; Galatians 3:26)

Jesus' ministry was to seek and save the lost. As his followers we:
-
Do our best to continue his ministry. (Mark 16:16)

-
Study his word to show ourselves approved. (2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11)

-
Gather together on each first day of the week to worship God and to remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to reconcile us to God. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

-
Help those in our community who are in need. (James 1:27; Acts 2:44)

-
Help others spread the good news to all nations (2 Timothy 2:1-14)
