Bill Gregory’s office hours: 10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. (Please call to make sure he is in before stopping by the building)
Bill, along with his sister and aunt, traveled on a train from Texas to Washington in 1953 and ended up in Benton City, Washington. There, he and his sister were raised by an aunt and uncle on a little farm in the country.
He graduated from Kiona-Benton High School in 1967. Fran, his wife of 54 years, grew up in Prosser, Washington and also graduated in 1967. After graduation, they married, and moved to Idaho to attend college.
After eighteen months, they decided to move back to Washington and settled down in Richland, Washington. They have four grown sons, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom are close by.
Bill started preaching when he was sixteen, and although he often held down other jobs, he has continued to preach until this day. He has preached in several states, but mostly in Washington, Oregon and Utah.
From 2000 to 2005 Bill and Fran took a sabbatical. Both obtained a commercial driver's licence and drove long haul trucks all across the United States.
In his sixties, Bill decided to go back to school, and he has now received both his Associate's and Bachelor's degree from Amridge University in Bible and Ministry, graduating with honors.
They are very happy to be back in the Tri-Cities and reconnect with so many people they have known over the years. According to Bill, "It is great to work with the people in the church of Christ at Kennewick and to be with people who love the Lord and each other."
